We had no teething problems with the car I absolutely loved it, couldn't fault it at all! No its 2006, three years later we have just purchased another new car from motorpoint. This time we had no worries and in fact we were more confident to use Motorpoint than a main dealer. They again offered us a lot more for the old car, save us more than £5000 on brand new car and in fact was £2000 cheaper than second hand ones we had seen. I have put none for disadvantages but that is only from my point of view. I suppose really there are a few things that I should make people aware of: * You are the second name on the log book. * The cars are imported so this affects second hand value * The warranty might be less, but they... ...after the cars are sold. Look after a customer & they will come back for the next sale, the best sales staff know this. They are often trained by the manufacturer to a high standard. But for every good professional sales person you can bet your last pound coin that there are many bad ones following close behind. Loyalty is not a word that enters their vocabulary & I have seen some shocking examples of bad sales people over the years. They are guilty of false information given to customers, incorrect procedures carried out, false finance figures given out, promises made that can never be delivered & many other shocking examples most of which wouldn’t be allowed in today’s market place. ...Being a skinflint, I got mine cheap off a market stall, As it was a bargain, I decided to give it a go, instead of the stuff I usually use - Car Plan, although I have always been happy with it, I have heard people "wax" lyrical about Mer but never used it. Glad I gave it a try now. The polish is suitable for all paint finishes, including metallic, you can also use it on your caravan, bike, upvc windows or anywhere else you need a good shine. The polish comes in a plastic container, coloured blue, in the following sizes, half litre, one litre, three litres, and the massive trade size of ten litres. Recommended retail prices range from £11 for the smallest, sixteen Pounds and thirty-one for the 1 & 3 litres, then up to a whopping £71 for the large.
