I bought this 8GBTranscendJetflashV10 a few days after the New Year. As you know I'm the sort of person who likes to walk around with lots of memory around me as I got loads of junk to keep.
With the January sales flying around I had to walk around the shops and surf the net looking for real bargains. That's when I came across the 8GBTranscendFlashDrive for only £24.99 on Moby memory website, which is an internet shop that's sells a lot of gadgets mainly to do with mobiles and digital cameras. I did not stop their, I quickly added my 8GBTranscendFlashDrive to the basket and checked out, although I had to pay extra money for the delivery which was rather cheap.

The Toshiba U3 flashdrive is shaped as a normal USBdrive - long and thin. It has a cap to cover the opening of the USB port. The cap is connected to the main part by a small string which comes with the drive. Other than that the drive has no other parts.
The storage provided by the drive shows up as 3.79Gb. This is because 4Gb is actually 4,000,000 bytes. When divided by 1024 twice (into Kb and Mb) it is actually just 3.79Gb. To be honest, the back up function was the only one that I've fully made use of so far. Its pretty good...except for the fact that it doesn't have the option to compress the data and store them as back up.
These features are far more useful and innovative than the softwares that come along with USBdrives from other companies.
Value for money - 11/10
A 8GBflashdrive for Rs.1700/-??? (US$42) What the hell?? I'd buy one any day.
My personal advice:-
The V60's biggest downfall is the flashy looks. If you can get over it, then you should buy it. In my opinion, the V30 is a much better alternative ...
