Its a Mini DV with a 4Mb MultiMedia card for still images (good results...especially when compared to Sony's PC range). JVC provide you with all the PC connection cables for easy downloading of still images. Plus all the cables for connecting to your TV and Video. Fairly simple to use. Easy menu control and excellent 'Photo Shoot' option for stills. Still images can either be stored on the MultiMedia card or while recording on the tape. Handling of the camera is pretty good, although a little awkward in terms of where to place your index finger. Has a built in flash which most other cameras don't.
