I bought the iPod touch for my son for his 10th birthday. Before he alerted me to the item I knew nothing at all about it. Having played around with it for a few hours, I can now see what all the fuss is about as this item is so addictive. The touch comes in 3 guises, namely 8Gb, 16Gb and 32Gb versions. These are all identical apart from, obviously the storage capacity.

the I pod touch makes it quite a different and unique. The I pod touch is capable of storing large capacity of information well what actually do you think of a device that that has 8gb memory space. As my boyfriend's birthday approached, I was panicking as to what to get him as men are a nightmare to shop for and I really wanted to get something exciting. I noticed that he kept borrowing my ipod nano and initially planned to get him one of his own but on the Apple website I saw the ipod touch and worked out that if I got him that then I could steal it and use it!
From the Apple website, the 8GB iPod Touch cost me £199 with free postage and packing and a free optional engraving. I thought this was a reasonable price it was nice and simple to order it online. I chose the free engraving option and this enabled me to have a two line engraving on the back (top centre) of the ipod.
