Auckland, the clean, green city

Advantages: A clean, safe city. Adjacent to the waterfront with ferries to other parts.
Disadvantages: No large departmental stores. Limited public transport.

LONELY PLANET GUIDE. ESSENTIAL READING

Advantages: Facts about everything you want to know, easy to carry, cheaper than rough guide
Disadvantages: need to ensure up to date version
