Advantages: An educational almanac - written by an enthusiast.
Disadvantages: Several personality trait flood out - old fashioned in values.

A country alphabet..

Advantages: Full of fascinating facts, easy to dip in and out of.
Disadvantages: Sparse illustrations will put off some.
