Lonely Planet Peru - a thorough guide with good advice.

Advantages: user friendly, thorough information.
Disadvantages: Slightly pricier than expected.

Travelling back to the country of my childhood from my armchair

Advantages: Well researched, easy to read style of writing with some humour
Disadvantages: Of limited interest as the places visited are almost unknown
