What more could you need?

Advantages: gives a precise and accurate lowdown of most cities whilst showing some hidden gems.
Disadvantages: there are cheaper and nicer hostels on 'hostelworld.com' than the cheap ones it recommends

Lonely Planet Eastern Europe

Advantages: clearly laid out, a good read
Disadvantages: Bulky and focused mainly on popular destinations
