Soap, Sink and Water, in a bottle
Advantages: no need for water, kills 99.9% of bacteria Disadvantages: the smell, may make hands feel dry
I first brought this product for going camping with as it's never easy to make sure hands are clean especially when you're eating and cooking in a field where you are miles away from buildings and tap water ect. But now i use it all the time and the 50ml bottle is small enough for me to take everywhere. But beware, it doesn't shouldn't become a substitute of washing hand but with the flu epidemic ect it just gives you that extra security of having ... ...useful is that there is no need for water or drying as it dries almost instanting. All you need to do is remove the lid and push the pump once in your hands, which gives you just the right amount of gel to kill all the bacteria. Even though it is made for more sensitive skin and is less harsh (less alcohol in it) than others, i did find it dries my hand and i needed to moisturise more often. If it gets on a cut, it also stings quite a lot. There ...

Sticky fingers
Advantages: Cleansing, pleasant smell Disadvantages: Sticky, can easily squeeze out too much
...I ended up with the Marks &Spencer Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel, which cost £1 and was helpfully sitting beside the tills in the food bit. The gel comes in a 50ml clear bottle, and is bright blue. The label has the usual info, don’t get it in your eyes, don’t eat it, and the ingredients – all chemically stuff as you would expect. The point of hand gel is to be able to wash your hands on the go without needing water. It’s become a lot more popular since ... ...effective it is. This particular gel claims to kill 99.99% of germs but the H1N1 virus could be in that 0.01%!!! I like hand gel because I find it refreshing, and also because I hate that the Metro paper covers my hands in nasty dirty newsprint in the morning – so by using this I don’t have to wait until I get to work to clean my hands. I found the Carex gel very effective in every way, although I didn’t like the fragrance of the Aloe Vera variety ...

Advantages: cheap price, effective protection Disadvantages: -
...to recommend to you this Boots Kids Sun Spray SPF30. A lot of people might be going away for the winter sun so this might still be useful as Australia and places alike still get rays of sunshine while we await the snowfall. I bought this spray just before my summer holiday but it took me a while to pick one as I find all of the sun sprays very overpriced especially when you are only going away for a week and don't need too big a bottle for just yourself. ... ...what you are buying. The Boots logo is on the front as are all the key facts such as it being 5 star UVA protection and water resistant and being SPF30 HIGH. On the bottle reverse, they state that it is a 200ml bottle which to be honest is enough for a week holiday as I was most certain I wouldn't even use this anyway as it seemed like too much. All of the ingredients are also listed on the back of the bottle so that you can see everything included ...

...product:
The product is a carex Anti-bacterial Hand gel with aloe vera. It claims to kill 99.9% of germs and is an alternative to soap and water. It also claims to have at least 100 applications per bottle, which is also instant drying-woohoo!
It has been inrtoduced for a few years now and I purchased my first bottle around 3 or 4 years ago, but sales have soared recently with the outbreak of swine flu.
It is made by carex who is a well known ... ...trusted product!
The range:

Carex Hand Gel Sensitive
Advantages: Leaves hands germ free, smelling great and feeling good Disadvantages: None
I brought a bottle of Carex Hand Gel last week on the recommendation of a friend. I purchased it from Boots but it is available to buy from stores such as Superdrug, Savers, Lloyds Chemists etc. Apart from when visiting hospitals, using hand gel is something which I have never really thought about in the past, but with all the negative press nowadays on virus's such as MRSA and Swine Flu being on the increase then I have now realised that little ... ...~The Product~ Carex Hand Gel comes in a handy 50ml clear plastic bottle, making it a perfect size to carry around in your handbag. It comes with a pump-action spray lid with a nozzle that is able to turn 360 degress. The gel itself is clear and quick thick. There are two things which really surprised me about this product. The first is the smell. It is the same type of product that is used in hospitals now, though obviously not as strong and harsh, ...
