Would certainly recommend it Advantages: Friendly staff, very helpful and well priced Disadvantages: Website is a bit confusing, best to call them Have had a policy with Direct Travel for a while now and have always found them extremely fair, helpful and friendly. Their free talking Nurses service is fantastic and after some problems in Turkey this year (my wife and I had a nasty rash all over our faces and backs) I called and they were able to help without us having to see a doctor. simple and cheap travel insurance Advantages: Cheap, pays claims Disadvantages: Can't make claims over phone I have had insurance from Essential Travel for a couple of years now, and have never had a problem. I found them online and chose them because their prices were the cheapest. It was also very easy to book exactly what I needed through their website as it was simple to use. Mick Advantages: Good help desk Disadvantages: Let me down when I needed them at the help desk too Most policys seem to be the same so maybe I am harsh. I flew to Germany with Ryan Air and on the return the flight was cancelled due to fog. This cancellation in accordance to EU reglations 261/2004 is beyond the control of the airline so they are not liable for your costs and they did not have another flight for 48 hours.
