BAD INSURERS Advantages: none except you may get your product replaced Disadvantages: everything BAD VALUE FOR MONEY, Pay premium in full when you make a claim the staff talk down to you and the manager is rude and very bad service In my opinion this insurance company is basically out to sponge our money and not help us at all would not be recommending to anyone, NOT a very good experinace never get called back or spoken to as tho i am a customer, even the manager was patronising and wasnot able to offer anything in return for my bad experiances ... ...way i have been treated and very shocked that companys can actually get away with things like thsi there staff need more training and they are money grabbers I will have to pay £130.00 just to get gadget fixed .......................................................... Advantages: cheap and easy Disadvantages: none My dad has always used Insure and go as our family travel insurance and his a financial advisor so he should know whats good, and so since I have started travelling on my own this is what I use. What is great about this insurance group os the simplicty of it. It will literally take you 2 minutes and you have a copy of your certificate and one on the way to you in the post! Would certainly recommend it Advantages: Friendly staff, very helpful and well priced Disadvantages: Website is a bit confusing, best to call them Have had a policy with Direct Travel for a while now and have always found them extremely fair, helpful and friendly. Their free talking Nurses service is fantastic and after some problems in Turkey this year (my wife and I had a nasty rash all over our faces and backs) I called and they were able to help without us having to see a doctor. Mick Advantages: Good help desk Disadvantages: Let me down when I needed them at the help desk too Most policys seem to be the same so maybe I am harsh. I flew to Germany with Ryan Air and on the return the flight was cancelled due to fog. This cancellation in accordance to EU reglations 261/2004 is beyond the control of the airline so they are not liable for your costs and they did not have another flight for 48 hours.
