Treasure Island is a classic, no doubt about it. It has the same impact on everyone who reads it, no matter how old they are.
Probably one more for blokes than ladies, it makes you want to put on an eye-patch and shout Oooh-Agh!
Written by the young Robert Louis-Stevenson, this book focuses on a young pub-owners son who gets thrown into all kinds of trouble with Long John Silver looking for adventure.
I read this when i was a kid, and it still hasn't lost it's touch.
It's enjoyable, it gets you involved, and really is just a great book to read.
Buy it for your kids or buy it for you, who-ever reads it is bound to like it, it's definately worth the money.
