Oxford can go both ways in the "going out" department; it can either be really good fun, with every pub and club playing the music you like, and with people you like, or you get the yobbos out that ruin everything (usually after the football!) or its just quiet. But generally, Mood isn't ever quiet. I wouldn't say it's my fave place to go in Oxford but it's always been good and lively, even on quiet nights.
SITUATED
Mood is situated along George Street in Oxford, in between many other bars, clubs and restaurant looking - type - places.
From the outside, it looks small. All you can see is a brightly lit door, (usually with 2 or 3 hefty sized bouncers stood outside in fluorescent jackets) with stairs running down a level. Sometimes there's a queue, other times, it looks deathly quiet, hence the title of this review!

singer: Coleen, Bernie, Linda and Maureen. They're dressed in black dresses with big smiles on their faces. Indeed it is very welcoming and utterly spectacular. 'The Nolans' is written in between them in a lovely gold shade, with 'I'm in the Mood Again' above it. This logo is also seen on the back, with a track list of all sixteen songs underneath.
Inside the case there is a little leaflet advertising their tour, with dates on it, as well as a little about the tour DVD that will be released in November. Before I had a listen to the CD, I had a flick through the booklet that comes with it. This just gives you a little information about each song, as well as a word from the girls. I would have liked to know who was singing each song as I later found out that it can be quite tricky to pinpoint who is the lead of X song. The booklet is quite ...

My copy of the film In The Mood for love came as a freebie DVD presented by the Times. This a film by Wonng Kar - Wai has a censor PG (Parental Guidance) for children under 12 years old. The film is approx 94 minutes long. The film is presented by Jet Tone Films productions. My version came in its original language of Cantonese with English sub titles. The film was well received at the Cannes film festival in 2000.
