I chose the moisture rich version as I have quite dry hair sometimes. I have found that the conditioner does work and leaves my hair a lot softer than what average branded shampoos ... ...the shampoo is the price-it costs £4.17 for a 900ml bottle at Tesco (where at the moment it is on offer-2 bottles for £6, until 10/02/09). My current bottle has lasted me since November and I have not got through a third of a bottle yet, so it does last a long time.
The only down side that I have with this shampoo is that it can leave my hair a bit heavy if I apply too much during my shower. ... more

Advantages: Nice fragrance, thick & creamy, lathers well, often on special offer Disadvantages: Doesn't rinse very well, leaves a build-up, requires conditioner after use
I purchased both the TRESemme vitamin E moisturerichshampoo AND conditioner originally due to it being on special offer in Tesco at £3.59 buy one get one free for 900mL bottles.
I had seen it advertised endlessly on tv adverts prior to this but thought the price was a little high to take a gamble on a new product that might not agree with my hair and thus waited for a bargain.
It states that it's used by professionals which is always a good selling point and being that it's for dry or damaged hair and intends to restore moisture & strength I thought that it's got to work for me as I regularly colour my hair, so up popped the lid and away we squirt.
The shampoo is white, thick and creamy, has a nice fragrance, as is enriched with natural extracts of sunflower, hazlenut and almond and is easily worked into a lather ...
Advantages: Clean, big bottle, excellent value Disadvantages: none

As I said for myself and wife, the bottle of shampoo outlasted all of the brands before - and I assumed the effect would also disintegrate with time. But no, Tresseme moisturerich, held firm. I continually got the same results as I did the first.
Yes, I must admit. the use of the shampoo on its own would not necessarily destroy all the effects of heat damage or dandruff, but when used with a conditioner, even these effects were limited unless of course you would wait a week to wash your hair!

From a man's shorter hair, yes, probably one of the best out their. From my wife's perspective, brilliant again. As for the value for money - nothing can beat it. Usually high quality shampoos are quite pricey and branded as such - Tresemme brand themselves on high salon quality ...
Advantages: Long lasting, 12 hour + holding power, great scent, value for money Disadvantages: Can seem pricey compared to other brands. Bottle is huge, not good for carrying in bag.
me quite a while. TRESemme Freeze Hold does exactly that, it is an amazing product, outstanding value for money and it never lets me down. It keeps every hair in place, it smells fantastic, sweet and fruity and not like harsh chemicals like the Elnette one which I cannot stand! Scent is definitely important as you don't want people catching a whiff of your hair and coughing because it smells like 10 shades of bleach, cleaners and chemicals!!
All of the TRESemme products are fantastic, I have the heat defence spray, the moisturerichshampoo and conditioner and a few other products such as serums. TRESemme hairspray is the staple item of my beauty kit and I would be totally lost without it. It is unbelievable. It may seem a bit pricey when you can get your average hairsprays for less than a pound in some beauty shops, but please try this ...
