Our oldest daughter already has a Kettler Maxi Trike from Argos, but I wanted something suitable for our younger one (19 months). After some searching, I settled on the Argos Tipper Trike. Unfortunately, like all the other trikes I'd found, it is still a bit big for her little legs to use. ... Read review

Argos Tipper Trike vs Kettler Maxi

"Our oldest daughter already has a Kettler Maxi Trike from Argos, but I wanted something suitable for our younger one (19 months). After some searching, I settled on the Argos Tipper Trike. Unfortunately, like all the other trikes I'd found, it is still a bit big for her little legs to use. I didn't expect her to pedal it, but was hoping her feet would reach the ground easier than they do. Not to worry, she loves it, but what really surprised me was ..." Read review

"My son got a trike for his first birthday. It was bought from Index and cost £25. It has a detachable parent handle, so you can guide them or steer them about when they are too young to be let loose on their own, and the parent handle comes to about waist height so it's nice an comfy for you and you won't put your back out!! When they are old enough, and you are confident enough they won't hurt themselves (or anyone else!) then unscrew the pole and ..." Read review

Great Inexpensive Toy

AdvantagesProvides hours of pleasure

DisadvantagesNone

"This opinion is based on the Argos Trike/Tipper. From the name you would imagine that this is some kind of bicycle, with a tipper truck on the back. This is not so. I bought this toy for my grand-child, the main reason being that he didn't have a bike, but also because it was a relatively cheap bike. The bicycle it's self is red and green, it has pedals on the front, and even a basket to put things in. Their is no tipper, really it's a little ..." Read review

The best thing for a small child

Advantages-

Disadvantages-

"For my cousin’s second birthday I bought a tricycle for her, it has a seatbelt, and a long stick so you can push the tricycle along. It’s perfect for small children, who are growing up. At that age they can’t peddle but it seems a shame they have to travel in a pram everywhere. This summer she had so much fun, the tricycle has a seatbelt, which means that you don’t have to worry about the child falling out, and the stick ..." Read review
