Trilogy Cream Cleanser

Advantages: Great cleanser, works deep down and leaves skin feeling so smooth
Disadvantages: Has an old fashioned image which may put people off but its great!

...I thought this would be really thick and gloopy but it was the best cleanser I have tried in a long time. My skin hasn't felt really cleansed for ages, since I've been using wipes but after using Pond's cleanser my skin feels so smooth and moisturised and it removes all trace of make up - even tough mascara. I was so pleased with it, I'm converted. My Gran would be so proud that we use the same product! I've trried it with water and cotton wool but I've found the best way to be with a muslin cloth (a la expensve Eve Lom) if you soak this in hot water when you take off the cleanser it works to open the pores and cleanse deep down. After you've wiped the cleanser off with the muslin cloth, then clean your face with cold water, either on the cloth or just a splash, this will help close the pores.... Read review

...This is a very gentle cleanser, that you rinse off with water. It says mild exfoliater, but it does not feel like an exfoliater at all, so don't buy it if you want a proper exfoliation, the particles are practically non existant. Having said that, it is a nice rich, creamy cleanser, that is perfect for sensitive skins and is pleasant to use. I massage it all over my face and then remove it with a warm wet flannel and it leaves my face looking really white, but in a good way. It leaves your face feeling like a fresh blank canvas, ready for make up application. My moisturizer sinks in easily after having used this cleanser. Normally I prefer soap and don't feel properly clean after using a cleanser, but this one leaves your face feeling completely cleansed.... Read review

...Salicylic Acid Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Cream Cleanser claims to get deep into pores where breakouts start and helps prevent future breakouts. In my opinion I would say that this is true as it did prevent future breakouts from occuring. This gentle cleanser managed to cleanse my skin without irritating my skin. And it also made my skin a lot less oily and I could feel an instance smoothness on my skin. I have tried many, many different cleansers in the past and none of them have worked. This cleanser is gentle, effective, and it smells nice, I have read reviews that it doesn't remove all makeup, but it does. If this cleanser doesn't remove your makeup, either you're wearing more makeup than acne skin can take, or you should try makeup-removing wipes. This product is the only thing that works on my acne (now clear) skin!... Read review
