I love this website! its full of people who have actually been to the places your thinking of visiting, not just someone from a travel agents trying to make a bit of commission! Although sometimes reading some of the reviews can be off putting its great to see what every one thinks of the place you want to go, i always use this when planning a trip although only really take notice of the bad ones if there are lots of them! some people are just fussy and have extremely high standards! I useually use this website for the forums after booking my holiday to see if other people had a good time and find out what the weather will be like and if they have any tips. I like the pictures on here, REAL pictures which REAL travellers have taken - not a picture taken for a travel brochure which has most probally been airbrushed! This website is down to earth and a lot of fun! those People who are interested in meeting others on holiday there's hundreds of people looking to make friends and go for a drink if their holiday falls in the right place at the right time!

I often check out the forums in my home town to see if i can help anyone visiting near by, and the forums to places i have been. As do many others.

It even has games to test your knowledge of around the world!

Id definately taking a trip to trip advisor before or after you have booked your holiday, and remember not to take to much notice of the bad reviews unless they over ride the good ones! Some people expect too much!
