If you love to travel but are running out of ideas then Tripbase is a great site to take a look at.

Basically, you plug in the sort of things you like to do when you travel: shopping, nature etc.. when you want to go, how much you want to spend etc.. and you then get presented with a list of destinations that fit your individual criteria.

I actually think this is a great way to get some very good ideas of where to go next.

My recommended destinations included Moscow and San Francisco - both are already on my bucket list so I think the site must work pretty well!

Another plus is that the whole process only takes a few seconds and you really feel that the list is personalized and not just a random list of places!

There are apparently 30,000 destinations in the system so this is a great place to start your travel planning by casting your net very wide.

Another great feature is the road trip planner where you put in how far you want to drive and get a list of drive destinations and even estimated journey times.

I thought this tool would be very useful for last minute weekend getaways.
