This box set includes books 1-9 of the True Blood Books.
The True Blood books follow the story of Sookie Stackhouse who is a telepathic waitress in Bon Temps, Louisianna.
The story begins when Bon Temps gets its very first vampire resident (Bill Compton) and sookie ends up befriending him. The box set leads on through Sookies life, which becomes more and more troubled as she becomes more and more friendly with other local vampires.
These books are of a fairly sexual nature and also feature a fair amount of violence.

I personally bought these books after seeing the True Blood series on tv. If you are a fan of the show, be ware - the books are not the same as the show. The books are written from Sookies perspective only, unlike the tv show. This therefore means that a lot of the storyline from the tv show (such as what happens in sookies brother jasons private life) is not included in the books.

Since buying these books i have read them all and am currently rereading then. I believe that they make good presents for many people who enjoy the tv series (although some may be annoyed as a lot of the storyline is not included, as i mentioned above). Furthermore, they will be good for anyone who enjoys books about the super natural.

Sorry I can't rate this any higher, but you don't include enough detail here. What are they about, what are the characters like, what are your likes and dislikes, how do the books compare to others by the same author, or by different authors in this genre, etc.
