Advantages: good firm bristles, light weight, clean shave,
Disadvantages: useless stand

...I bought this product for my boyfriend for his birthday as he wanted some new shaving products. It is a lovely feeling a looking shaving brush with a good set of bristles (which havn't gone dishaped or ragged yet after regular use.) It is small and light enough to travel with and is very effective at making a nice fluffy lather (helped by the stiff bristles which don't sag when wet). The only disappointment with the brush is that the stand is entrily useless and can only be used to hold the brush up in its packaging, not independantly as shown in the picture. The men U free travel shaving wash was a nice touch with the brush too, although we have yet to use it but it smells lovely. Overall a good brush for everyday use, but would not pay more than 15 - 20 pounds.... Read review

Advantages: Small, good value, actually works
Disadvantages: Best used in bath or shower - not always convenient

...I hate shaving and have tried everything - Noxema (best foam); various other foams; traditional soap and badger hair brush; Prep (South African stuff, great but messy); BP Aquaeos Solution (can't spell it) tried when unable to get any of my favourites and pretty good; but this is the best. For best results use it in the shower or bath (shower is best), otherwise it's not so great, but the biggest advantage of it is that if you want a really close shave you don't have to keep re-applying it like you do / would with foam or other alternatives. I've tried the King of shaves with Menthol as it sounds like a good idea but sdaly it just doesn't work, i think the menthol stops it from staying on your skin long enough to last a shave, it washes off in the shower before your through - nice idea but no prizes....
