Advantages: Comfortable shave, Disadvantages: Smell, feel, after feel.
Well I myself have never heard of this brand before it was bought for me for a birthday by someone. lol. I cant even remember who it was who got it me. I tend just to use any old shaving foam, gel or cream. At the end of the day they all do the same things I feel. Well I got this part of a pack with some deodrants and bodycream. Personally I havent used any of the smellies as I like my own aftershaves and deodrants and arent one for chopping and changing. Like to smell the same all the time. Well after seeing this on the Ciao site I am suprised at the price of it. Yes it does smell nice and it does make for a comfortable shave, however it really isnt worth £15.00.
I find that this cream is very solid almost like wax and I found it difficult to apply to my facial area without adding a lot of water to it in order to water it down ...
Advantages: cheap, water-based, less irritation Disadvantages: takes a litlle longer to shave, you need a brush
I have always suffered with sesnitive skin around my neck area when I shave, I have tried many different gels and razors but until I started using Palmolive shavecream i never really found anything that didnt make my skin sore.
Palmolive is a traditional shavecream that comes in a tube - the cream has to be used with a shaving brush to create a thin water based lather on the face. A good tip before applying the cream is to soak your face for a while with hot water - this opens your pores and expands the size of the hair by 30% which makes it easier to shave off.
The cream is cheap about £1.90, and although it ...
Advantages: It seems to help improve my nails. Disadvantages: It makes my palms feel slightly sticky.
The Body Shop Almond Oil Daily Hand and Nail Cream, I can?t remember buying this and I have a smaller than usual size tube (50ml). I think it must have been free when I bought something else.
I have had this hand and nail cream for months and months in my kitchen next to the sink , I use it when my hands are feeling dry and in need of some extra moisture .
The cream feels quite light when you first put it on your hands and has a light but distinctive smell of sweet almonds. Although the cream disappears very quickly in to the skin on the back of my hands leaving them looking and feeling very smooth and soft, my palms have an unusual slightly sticky feel. I can feel my hand almost sticking to the computer mouse as I use it now.
Before, this is what has put me off using it more often.
But I have been using this hand cream more ...
