TRUST - The Wireless Video Signal

Advantages: Watch Satellite In A Second Room With No Wire
Disadvantages: It's Still Only One Channel

THE BASICS OF THE UNIT Basically if you have a unit, be it a DVD player, a sky box or a video, that has a scart or a composite signal output then this unit will allow to view the signal in another location (up to 30m from the unit in a house) without having to fit a wire. You can even go to the second room with your remote control and change the channel over from there so no more running up and down the stairs to get the program you want. Another good use that I can think of for this unit is if you had some AV equipment that you wanted to have hidden away in a cupboard but still be able to control it then you could put the units away and just have the receiver on show. Or if you had a CCTV system and didn?t want someone to know where it was being recorded you could come out of a switcher unit into this and send it remotely to a VCR ...

Trust TeleViewer 1620W Wireless Review

Advantages: Easy to use, cheap
Disadvantages: Can get interference from wireless networks, microwaves, other wireless equipment etc.

This was bought as a wireless connection between a laptop and projector to show presentations etc. in a church. I am a little disappointed with the quality of the picture when using wireless and also that it easily gets interference from other electrical/electronic equipment. At the moment, I use it mostly to convert a VGA signal from a computer to a video signal for a TV; I don't use the wireless as often. The product has a very good menu which lets you move, resize and adjust the colour of the image and it comes with a large range of cables and adapters. Overall, I would recommend it as a computer - to - TV adapter but only as a wireless video sender if you sending low quality images/videos (i.e. not lots of text like PowerPoint presentations). ...

WIRELESS GAMING - AT A PRICE

Advantages: Wireless connectivity to Xbox live, Simply to setup
Disadvantages: Ridiculously expensive, Doesn't come in black to match my Xbox 360 Elite

If, like me, you have an Xbox 360, you will no doubt be aware of the dynamic and enjoyable facility available to you online, namely Xbox live. Xbox live is a place where you can download demos and game add-ons, chat to your friends, and stream movies and videos direct to your Xbox 360 in glorious high definition. But while the Nintendo Wii and the Sony Playstation 3 can go online straight from the box without any additional hardware, Microsoft, in their infinite wisdom, decided not to include wireless connectivity as standard in the Xbox 360. This leaves you with a couple of options should you wish to get your Xbox 360 online; an Ethernet cable from your router is probably the cheapest way, but in these wireless days I was really looking at reducing the cables stretching around my home, not add to them. There is another method ...
