Trust 200NS NOTEBOOK POWER ADAPTER UNIVERSAL - power adapter - 120 Watt

Advantages: Universal usage; affordable; multi-purpose; well-designed
Disadvantages: Larger than most adapters; was not suitable for my phone model

Lastly, the box has a small blue light on it which illuminates when it is powered up - very handy, and helps you remember to unplug the mains from the wall if you are not using it to charge your laptop (which I have heard drains power even with the appliances turned off or disconnected). Because the connector heads can be swapped and are attached by means of two pins that fit into two holes in the wire body, it seems as if this is a prevention against the design fault of my previous adapter. I highly suspect it was the wire right at the base of the computer connector that got bent and broken, and I don't see how the same can happen with the Trust model. At around £30 on some internet sites or large shops, the adapter is certainly affordable and cheaper than other Trust Universal Adapters with a higher watt... Read review

Advantages: It comes with more cables.
Disadvantages: The part that you can not take out of the charger is the weak part.

...Bought it, was happy with the idea that I could use it in England on any laptop, because I am moving from The Netherlands to England. However, I had it, and the iron pin at the end of the wire you put in your laptop broke, leaving the iron piece in my pc. Thank God I do not give a damn about my teeth, I ripped it out of my laptop, and there I was, a iron pin in my mouth, my laptop wanting power and my Targus Adapter shining at me like it did nothing wrong. The store owner did not give a damn, and said it was my fault. There I was, no guarantee, no power for my laptop, and no response from Targus. If you never ever move your notebook, maybe this product is advicable, else I would go for something else, it is worth looking for, trust me. ...We now have a number of these at work for the Salesman and Engineers. It is ideal for plugging your laptop into while on the move. There is no need to carry your laptop supply round with you. Our engineers have them rigged up in there vans, all they have to do is plu there lapotp in and they are away. From an IT point of view they are great as there is no need to spend a fortune purchasing additional power packs or replace damanaged / lost power packs. The product is well built and very robust. I would highly recommend it to any one who needs to replace a broken power pack or for an IT guys who want a universal system to use a cross the company. The price is right for the product....
