Trust Design and Work Tablet 200 - mouse, digitizer

I originally bought this work tablet (although mine again is the TB2100) for photo editing. It was only £24 from Asda so I thought why not. I have read some subsequent reviews from other users who complain that it is not sensitive enough etc. but I think they must be using it for more 'professional' applications. You can buy much more expensive versions on this type of product, although I don't think you need to for home use..

...although I only ever use the Pen bit as the accompanying mouse is really horrible to use. You can put a normal sized photo under the clear plastic sleeve on the top of the tablet and it works a treat with any standard editing tools. Basically, you hover the pen over the tablet and watch the cursor move over the screen until you touch the pen down whereby it acts as though you have clicked the left mouse key. It is quite neat really.

However, the best bit of it is when my 2 young kids use it on their favourite paint program (Tux Paint - it's free and really good!!). My littlest is only 3 and she is a whizz on the pen already, drawing really cool and colourful pictures. This keeps them amused for quite a while and helps them with their creativity.

It probably isn't the best in class and maybe not for professional graphic designers, but what do you expect for less than £25? For a fun novelty item I think this is cool, and has performed as well as I expected it to.
