Trust Tablet: Perfect for an Amateur PC User 8 of 8 Ciao Users found the following review helpful

Advantages Is responsive, fairly customisable, good value for money.

Disadvantages Occasionally needs to be reset to fix pen issues, could do with a longer cable connector.

I have owned this tablet for about a month now. It was incredibly easy to set up; just enter the CD-rom into your computer, it automatically installs the software required for the pen to work and gives you the option of installing some free graphic design software (I did not decide to install this). You then very simply plug the tablet into the usb socket on your computer, put the battery that comes with the tablet into the pen and it works. All in all the installation took about ten minutes. The tablet works fine most of the time. When the computer first turns on, it usually takes a couple of minutes for it to register the pen's movement, which can be a little annoying. And having used my computer every day for the last month, three times on start up, the pen has had erratic movement resulting in it closing things that I have not clicked on and opening other things that I did not click on; but while this is annoying, it is reasonably rare and a quick unplug of the usb connection and replug in fixed the problem straight away. The pen is reasonably accurate; it personally took me about 3 or 4 days to completely get used to the feel of it as I have been so used to a mouse and this is my first tablet pen. The pressure sensor works, but is not overly sensitive. I actually bought it for its ergonomic design; so I use it as if it were a normal mouse (i.e. not much for graphic design) as I have carpal tunnel; it is perfect for carpal sufferers; it hurt the first couple of times, but after you get used to it, I have found it so much more comfortable than a traditional mouse. You can also choose to set the two buttons on the mouse to pretty much anything you like; there is a list of about 20 different options. I have them currently set to page scroll and right click. The pen nib itself is left click. So all in all, I think this tablet is very pretty and is perfect for an amateur pc user like myself; I think for someone who wants to use it professionally or as a graphic designer, I would get a better tablet and spend a bit more money on it. Value to quality ratio is perfect for me.

Welcome to Ciao. Decent first review, but a bit more structure and layout would help you secure higher ratings.
