...After a lot of researching, I just got a Trust Retractable OpticalMini Pink Mouse for my new Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop. The mouse looks great!!! The colour is lovely! It is small but a very good size for a laptop mouse! It has a very comfortable feel when using it, the scroll is good. It doesnt need any mouse mat. I just use it on the inside surface of the laptop and it works fantastically! It is very light, and it doesnt need any batteries, just plug the usb side into the laptop and it works straight away. It would have been even better if it can be used wirelessly as well! but for £10 it is good value and great product! It matches any pink laptop amazingly....

Advantages: stylish, comfortable, smooth, good range, no setting up Disadvantages: bulky, adapter fragile, not for the left-handed
...Don't go spending £35 on a Logitech VX Nano or any top spec mouse if you are looking for the ultimate comfort of use. This mouse has it all: it is sleek, its use is smooth, the buttons are pleasant to click and the shape of the mouse is very comfortable. The adapter is as small as you can get for a mouse of this price and it works from all sides of the computer if you are using a laptop. Just plug it in and your mouse is ready to use without any further setting up. On the more negative aspects: it is a bit bulky to have it on the go with your laptop, and the adapter looks fragile. Since I've had this mouse, I've realised how important a part of your computer use the mouse is. Got it for £6.49 from Asda!...

Advantages: functionality, application Disadvantages: bad ergonomics, mouse randomly moves
...A reasonable mouse for the money.
It has 5 buttons and a wheel so has reasonable functionality and the supplied application is easy to use and perfectly reasonable for what it's meant to do.
The problem with this mouse is that it is a tad uncomfortable to use, and the side buttons are very sensitive so are easy to push by accident.
Also, because it is a cheaper mouse it randomly flicks to the bottom left of the screen during general use, this isn't too big a problem but if you need precision it can get frustrating.
The wheel is reasonably smooth and easy to use, you can vary the number of lines each click etc. it is however definately a 'click' mouse-you don't so much roll the wheel as ratchet it.
I would pay about £6 for this mouse, definately not more than £10....
