My first PC game controller

Advantages: Resembles PS controller, Confortable, Good value for money
Disadvantages: Unresponsive 8 way D pad

configuration profiles for all your different games. I used it to play Need For Speed:Hot Pursuit 2 and it was excellent. The analog stick is really responsive, you can control even the slightest movement. When I tried using the 8 way direction pad to control the car, that's when the problems appeared. The responsiveness became incredibly slow and it was too easy to press up together with left/right instead of only left/right which is really annoyed so I stuck to using the analog stick. I would recommend this gamepad as it's good value for money and I haven't had any problems so far which is great. I really like the fact that it has a shift button to increase the amount of buttons from 12 to 24 which is good if you want to play games that require a lot of buttons such as flight simulators. ...

Logitech Dual Action, A Gaming Must

Advantages: Good for users suited to playstation 2 gaming, solid and reliable
Disadvantages: Cable Length, No vibration

Overview : The logitech dual action gamepad is a cheap an honest USB gamepad, suitable for most PC games. I have owned one since august 2006 originally purchased from argos for £19.99. The controller consists of 11 buttons, a multidirection pad and 2 joysticks. Installation : I found installation of this product to be simple and hassle free, the cd included is easy to understand and provides support in plain language, the driver installation is a simple one click process however most systems running Windows XP will not require a driver to be installed. Compatibility : I have never had any problems with this controller in any game i have used it with, the buttons are easy to map to game functions and it is simple to calibrate within windows if necessary.
