And boy am I glad I did. It was extremely easy to install on my Vista Premium laptop. And as soon as I started to use it I was hooked. There are some great little features on this tablet like a sheet of plastic on the top that lifts off so you can do tracing. It's only photo size so if you wanted to trace a picture from a magazine you'd have to fold the page to fit it in. The pen has a button on it that you press and instead of drawing it erases. When I decided I wanted a graphic tablet I thought long and hard about it. I compared all different makes, done my research and saved up some money. I was all set to buy a wacom one but then we popped in to Argos one day and they had this cheap Trust tablet in stock. In a moment of madness I purchased it.
And boy am I glad I did. It was extremely easy to install on my Vista Premium laptop. And as soon as I started to use it I was hooked. Paint suddenly became my best friend and within minutes I was drawing little cartoons. I have had so much fun with it on photoshop aswell and wonder how I done little art bits without it. The fun increases when you discover great freeware like art weaver and art rage.
There are some great little features on this tablet like a sheet of plastic on the top that lifts off so you can do tracing. It's only photo size so if you wanted to trace a picture from a magazine you'd have to fold the page to fit it in. The pen has a button on it that you press and instead of drawing it erases. The pen is very smooth to use and the lines that come out on the screen are great, I was worried that when drawing a circle it would come out as straight lines but not at all.
Overall the tablet is pretty much a no thrills one which for the money is what you expect. It's only pretty much plastic and does feel a little bit flimsy but so far it's survived being dropped a few times and not even a scratch. The pen also feels a bit cheap and is run by battery.
I think this Tablet is absolutely perfect for beginners (like me) and if you want it to do a bit of art on your computer to put on deviantart or facebook or send in an email to friends and family it's great. It's also perfect if you are looking for a fun new hobby and want to discover new things on your computer/laptop without spending out loads. If you want to do serious art and you already have the hang of a tablet then you should go a bit more expensive. As I get to grips with this more I think I will upgrade to a more expensive graphics tablet but I will never get rid of this one. Fun, Cheap and does what a graphic tablet should.
