...TrustXpertTouch Wireless DS-3200 - keyboard & Mouse
Review:
I purchased my trustkeyboard and mouse about 6 weeks ago now from PC World and was at first a bit apprehensive as this was hthe first thing i had bought from there for a long time due to thier total lack of organisation and knowledgde about the particular products i have previously purchased but was told by my brother that they were being sold for just £15 and were pretty good so i bit the bullet and goit one anyway afterall it was only £15 so didn't really matter too much if it did turn out to be useless! However i bought it home plugged it in put in the disk and it installed itself.... it worked! (Possibly the only thing i have brought fom there that does!)
After using this for a few weeks i am actually quite happy with it the range is pretty good and i can sit...

Advantages: long range infrared, lots of functions, good looking, easy to install Disadvantages: none
...When I bought this wireless set of keyboard and mouse I was looking for the cheapest and longest range available. I imediately spotted this Trust product but not knowing if trust-worthy or not (pun intended). Let me say, this product is just GREAT! Installation was the easiest on XP. The mouse is infrared, both mouse and keyboard are of course infrared and they can be placed VERY far from the source. The instructions are very short but very helpful, be sure to follow carefully the few steps listed. Lots of fully-working functions both on the mouse (that include multimedia buttons) and keyboard (with all sorts of buttons including volume, internet, stand-by/reset/shut-down). The look of this set is great too, the keyboard is rectangular as I like it and the shape of the mouse is the most comfortable I've ever owned. I seriously suggest...

Trust the keyboard Review ofTrustXpertTouchMultimediaKeyboardKB-1150 - keyboardby

Advantages: Soft keys, cheap, sleek, useful function keys Disadvantages: Slightly different key layout (see review), manual quite brief
...The reason for buying a new keyboard was because the keys on my other keyboard that came with my computer were becoming a bit 'hard', and it quite often became uncomfortable to type after the using the keyboard for more than half an hour.
This keyboard appealed to me because it was relatively cheap and had some handy media buttons above the keys (as most new ketyboards tend to have these days). It also looked quite sleek and ergonomic which although this wasn't its selling point, it matched with thte rest of my PC.
The overall layout of the keyboard is the same as any other. It's a standard qwerty key layout like any other, and the function buttons (F1, F2 etc) are where they are on any other. The numeric keypad on the right hand side is also the same as every other keyboard. The part that's different is where the Insert, Home, Page Up...

This keyboard sucks. I am typing with it right now, and I can tell you it feels terrible. The amount of times the 'k' key fails to register and the spacebar, which is falling off after a few days of use, is seriously beginning to annoy me. Thank god the... more

The mouse feels really cheap and of no substance and has gone back in the box, where it will stay. The tablet which I am running under Vista is remarkably precise with no hovering or flickering to be found even when doing the most delicate touches to a... more
So.. how do you write a review on a keyboard? Obvious puns aside, I'll try.
I was looking for a backlit keyboard for my work years ago, but all the ones I seen then where indeed lit from behind, but the light did not shine through the letters... more
