Indesit IS70C - Its the won.......
Review of Indesit IS70C by Brini1

Advantages: Spacious drum, easy to empty, moveable, efficient
Disadvantages: Slightly noisy

I purchased this dryer around 2 weeks ago after my old dryer conked out and yes what a lovely large drum, plenty of room inside for your clothes and the condensor unit is so easy as it is waist high so easy to pull out and empty. This machine is a very light and has easy movement. It is very esay to operate with clear buttons and an easy time dial and a touch on the door and it will open for you. The filter at the bottom front of the machine also ... Read review

Hotpoint CTD-80 Drier
Review of Hotpoint CTD80G by jaspinall

Advantages: All touch button controls
Disadvantages: Emptying the water tank weekly, though this is expected, being a condenser!

...once a week, defluff the door filter every cycle, and wash the condenser every month as advised by the instructions. Overall I would recommend this drier to anyone looking to complement their Hotpoint white goods. Mine currently sits on top of a Hotpoint washer, of similar digital display/control. ... Read review

Zanussi Tumble Dryer: ZDE46130W
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZDC 46130 by misseskimo

Advantages: Easy to use, easy to clean filters
Disadvantages: End of programme and water tank full alarm can drive you a bit crazy!

I bought this last year whilst renovating my new flat. I hadn't had a tumble dryer before and so although I wanted a cheap machine for the few times I would use it, I also wanted to get a good machine that I could stick in the cupboard out of the way. I find this Zanussi tumble dryer very easy to use, all I have to do is put the clothes in, scroll the control knob to the time that I want and press Start! It also has the option to say that their ...
...I mainly use the dryer for my towels and bed sheets, or in winter when I finish off a load from the line. I don't personally find this a problem, but my partner always says that it's hard to empty the water tank at the bottom of the machine, as it's very low down and you have to bend down and unclip something to get the tank out... He normally ends up pulling out the wrong one and soaking himself with de-ionized water! :) I find that the filters ... Read review

Energy Efficient Tumble Dryer
Review of Whirlpool AWZ7913 by Surj1

Advantages: Extra Large 7kg Capacity, Energy Saving, 6th Sense Technology System & Filter Full Alert
Disadvantages: Regular Cleaning Required

The Whirlpool AWZ7913 tumble dryer also known as the 6th Sense condenser dryer is ideal for those rainy days when its impossible to hang your clothes outside to dry. I'm not too keen on tumble dryers but had to get one for exactly that reason. I went with Whirlpool because of the good reputation it has in manufacturing these types of appliances. The tumble dryer comes in only one colour, white which would fit nicely in any kitchen. The main features ...
...think its too much hassle for something which simply dries your clothes. Overall I would recommend the Whirlpool AWZ7913 tumble dryer if you do a lot of laundry otherwise just use the house radiators, they do the job and is less hassle. The tumble dryer cost around £200. ... Read review

Hotpoint CTD00
Review of Hotpoint CTD00 by annjann

Advantages: large door with easy access for large loads
Disadvantages: none .... yet

Bought this dryer after my previous one finally packed in, I am a foster carer for 3 children + I have 2 teenage girls of my own, so that can add up to a lot of washing, rainy scottish days means I use this dryer practically everday. I've owned it now since christmas and its worked well for us, It dries quicker than my last condenser dryer (sorry white knight) but the length of time is important when waiting on your jeans to dry to go down the pub, ...
