...models I opted for this Bosch machine, largely, I have to say, based on its energy efficiency rating (B - don't think there are any dryers out there ranking A, not that I found anyway) and the reliability/durability of the Bosch brand. Yes, it was undoubtedly more expensive than a lot of others on the market but I felt it would be money well spent. So, was I right? Disadvantages: expensive

...dryer, but I do. Better make sure my husband doesn't read this.. Of course my SIL's is brand new, so we can't comment on reliability. Bosch are usually brilliant though, so here's hoping. It would be great if another reviewer who'd had one for a few years could comment. ... Read review

Disadvantages: Unusable, as door latch disintegrates after a few hours.

...the new machine unsable. Hoover sent out a repairman, who said the component hadn't been fitted properly when the machine was built, and who said that he'd not encountered the problem before. He refitted it and said that it should all be fine. The same component has just collapsed again after four days of use. After my previous White Knight Gas Tumble Dryer died after 9 years of continuous use, a sad day for all, I decided to replace it with another White Knight Gas Dryer and chose the BG437. Unfortunately we had a faulty dryer and had to get the engineers out. They made one visit and replaced a part. It seemed to be working but went faulty again a day later so the engineers returned, thi time with a brand new dryer. I have had this one for twelve months ...
...toddler and new baby. The dryer is easy to use, it has two heat settings - low and high and has a timer which goes up to 120 minutes. I don't think I have ever had it on for that long. I would definately reccommend this product, having the faulty one originally was just bad luck and hasn't changed my view of the product. ... Read review

Bought this dryer after my previous one finally packed in, I am a foster carer for 3 children + I have 2 teenage girls of my own, so that can add up to a lot of washing, rainy scottish days means I use this dryer practically everday. I've owned it now since christmas and its worked well for us, It dries quicker than my last condenser dryer (sorry white knight) but the length of time is important when waiting on your jeans to dry to go down the pub, ...
