At last an energy efficient tumble dryer
Review of John Lewis JLTDC01 by mtcrafer

Advantages: Low running costs and works great
Disadvantages: Time left display can't be trusted

...seems that only AEG and John Lewis sell a dryer with an A energy rating. Now that they have shown how I expect that the other manufacturers will start to produce their own examples. With its larger than standard capacity the JLTDC01 makes a good companion to washing machines which have been featuring larger capacities for some time now. So it's energy efficient and has a large drum but does it get your colthes dry? You bet it does and you can control ...

Almost uniquely it also features a setting for wool and silk that works great on my wool jumpers and suit trousers. My biggest niggle - and it is only a niggle - is the time left display. It always starts with about 2hrs, but never takes that long. As it works through the drying cycle the time will periodicly reudce in chunks as ... Read review
