beko DRCS68W
Advantages: Dry to wear ( less ironing has to be a plus), easy to use, Disadvantages: can't think of any at the moment...
We already own a Becko washing machine so were comfortable with buying this make again. With such a small area to have a tumble dryer we needed a condenser, and this one seemed very well priced with lots of features which you would normally find only on higher priced machines.
I have to say I LOVE this dryer. The controls are easy to understand, the wide square opening makes loading it really easy, and the light inside means I don't leave items ... ...wear' feature has been great, and does just that. I haven't had to get the iron out for weeks now, and as I hate ironing that is a major plus for me.
the water tank placement makes for easy emptying, the filter is just as easy to reach and clean.
It can be a little noisy, but no more than any other dryer I have owned.
I had read reviews saying that it was not a pretty looking dryer, so was pleasently surprised at how good it looked in my kitchen.

BEKO - Because I like it!
Advantages: Inexpensive, multiple settings, sensor drying, large capacity, wide door Disadvantages: Needing a tumble dryer in the first place
...turned out to be the Beko DRVS 62 W and I think I made the right choice.
It's C rated on energy but, even with heater power of 2000w, it didn't seem to make a huge impact on meter readings when used overnight on Economy 7. By using the 'sensor drying' mode, it seems to save quite a bit on electricity. The actual motor is only 200w, so cooler tumbling is an optional added saving.
The wide door and 6kg load means most things fit in without a problem, ... ...off as soon as the clothes are as dry as you need them - no messing around there. It lets you know when it's finished by emitting a tuneful bleeping sound.
The filter is easy to remove and clean, which I do between uses. The machine is fairly lightweight, so I can easily move it across the room on my own if needs must and, as it came with a free vent hose and was unpacked and set in position by the delivery guys, it was ready to use immediately. ...

put me in a spin!
Advantages: compact Disadvantages: temperamental
...of EU trading standards laws Creda unlikely to say, hey, goodwill time, we'll repair or replace, and Asda , the providers, kind of wash their hands of customer care if it's under warranty. In all, a poor experience. No, I'd suggest wringing clothes out on some stones on the beach might be more practical in the long term... ...

Hotpoint TVM506p saves me some ironing!
Advantages: Enormous drum Disadvantages: Door requires muscles to open
I originally chose this dryer because it was on offer, £160 at the time with free delivery. It was only after delivery that I looked at it more closely and appreciated some of the features. It is a standard size, white machine with a clear door so it is not outstanding in appearance.
The first thing that struck me was that the drum is huge, it swallows the 6kg recommended load easily, I must admit I am sure I frequently overload it but it still ... ...heats and these are changed by a simple button on the front. There is a cool cycle at the end of the drying time and there is also a reverse tumble action when th machine is working. I think these factors as well as the large drum are what contribute to the fact that it definately reduces the need for so much ironing. My previous tumble dryer was certainly not as good at providing crease-free clothes.
The timer can be set for up to 2 hours drying ...
