WHITE KNIGHT TO THE RESCUE ! Advantages: GREAT FOR A LARGE FAMILY and SIMPLE TO USE. Disadvantages: STILL TO FIND ONE ! ...you ! THE WHITE KNIGHT CL43. We Have four young kid`s in the house ( one is 6 months ! ) so you can imagine the amount of clothes we go through in a typical day ! ( IF YOU CAN`T YOU`RE VERY LUCKY ). The CL43 is easy to manouver and with it`s built in EXTENDIBLE HOSE can be put virtually anywhere. ( our`s runs under the floor of the kitchen !) It hold`s a very respectable 6Kg, IDEAL FOR A LARGE FAMILY. With TWO heat setting`s and REVERSE TUMBLE, ... ...FLUFF CATCHER" at the front . We bought the dryer nearly TWO year`s ago and use it at least once a day. IN ALL THAT TIME IT HAS NEVER LET US DOWN ! "Tumble Drying without the Hose" Advantages: No drainage hose required. Can be placed anywhere. Disadvantages: Little bit more expensive. Candy GOC218, Free Standing Condensor Dryer 8kg Advantages: 8 kg Load, 2 Heat Settings, Reverse Tumble Disadvantages: Bad aftersales service, expensive spares, water tank started to leak after 6 months The Candy GOC218 is a freestanding, front loading condensor dryer. With an 8kg load, it is perfect for family use. It comes with a 1y labour and 5y parts guarentee, so its pretty well covered. I got mine for a bargain £199 in the Argos sale. I was really please as I had wanted a condensor dryer for ages, but they can be very expensive. However, Candys after sales service isn't great. The online repairs request form doesn't work, meaning you have ... ...started leaking, so I phone the repairs number, but could never get through. Instead of continuosly trying to phone and wasting money, I thought maybe I could just buy a new water tank. I was shocked when I found out the were £18.99 plus postage and packaging! Apart from this fault, the dryer has been fine. CTD00P Advantages: Available colours, large drum Disadvantages: Noise ...again will I buy a Hotpoint product or accept one as a gift!
