Hotpoint CTD-80 Drier
Review of Hotpoint CTD80G by
jaspinall
Advantages: All touch button controls
Disadvantages: Emptying the water tank weekly, though this is expected, being a condenser!
...once a week, defluff the door filter every cycle, and wash the condenser every month as advised by the instructions.
Overall I would recommend this drier to anyone looking to complement their Hotpoint white goods. Mine currently sits on top of a Hotpoint washer, of similar digital display/control. ...

Hotpoint CTD00
Review of Hotpoint CTD00 by
annjann
Advantages: large door with easy access for large loads
Disadvantages: none .... yet
Bought this dryer after my previous one finally packed in, I am a foster carer for 3 children + I have 2 teenage girls of my own, so that can add up to a lot of washing, rainy scottish days means I use this dryer practically everday. I've owned it now since christmas and its worked well for us, It dries quicker than my last condenser dryer (sorry white knight) but the length of time is important when waiting on your jeans to dry to go down the pub, ...

HOTPOINT 7KG CONDENSER TUMBLE DRYER
Review of Hotpoint CTD40 Graphite by
rktnv
Advantages: Large capacity, can be put anywhere, stylish design
Disadvantages: Can make the room warm
My husband and I bought this condenser when we were moving into our new house - previously we had a tumble dryer with a hose but in our new house there was no actual space for the tumble dryer so we had to take a cupboard out for it and it wasn't very practical to have a hose running across the middle of the kitchen to the window!!
So we decided to get a condenser (my mum has one and highly recommended them), it basically takes away the need for ... ...in to the tumble dryer. This means you can put it anywhere in the house! It does still make the room quite warm but I just shut the kitchen door and it's not a problem.
This particular model looks really stylish in graphite (we actually went and bought all of our appliances in this colour because we liked it so much!). It also hold 7kg of washing which is great especially in the winter months or if you have children! Unlike tumble dryers with hoses, ...

Handy to have
Review of Hotpoint TDC62 by
dawnie1981
Advantages: condensor, so no vents needed
Disadvantages: covers the house in dust.
I've had this machine for about two years now and find it simple to use, easy to maintain and feel safe to leave it on when i go out as it has the automatic sensor, so no fiddly timing to adjust. I bought this as it matched the rest of my kitchen appliances. It has an auto-dry sensor (or something) that senses when the load is dry. It even has a cool down mode, so that when you open the door when the load is down you don't get hit by a face full ... ...There is an audible alarm that you can turn off, just by pushing a button. Easy - it's labelled Alarm on/off. even has a picture to tell you whether the alarm is on or off. (sorry if this sounds daft writing that but some people want to know as they can't seem to figure out how to push a button). There is an anti-crease function that is automatic on all loads. This is where when the load has finished and you haven't opened the door or turned the ...

Miracle machine reduces the ironing!
Review of Hotpoint TDC32 by
jo145
Advantages: Dries washing leaving it soft and fluffy
Disadvantages: Need space to keep it and larger electricity bills
...managed to get a compact Hotpoint Dryer– I can’t remember the princely sum, but it was a life saver! It was used more often in the winter, but was great to soften the towels if they had baked in the sun in the odd summer, All in all it was well used and it lasted very well, but after the door fell off and was duly mended, the glue eventually dried out and one of the times when it fell off again, the control switch broke. Awwwwww! Sad, no tumble dryer, ... ...a few days later my Hotpoint Aquarius Condenser Tumble Dryer was delivered.
+Condenser v Vented Dryer+
My previous dryer was made before condenser models and did not even have a venting hose, therefore it steamed up the kitchen, lounge etc when it was on. The new machine being larger had to go into our extension, which having a large proportion of glass, and likely to be cooler in winter, meant there was a chance of a lot of condensation forming ...
