As you all know we are having a horrible winter this year and its not the time of year that you can do a load of washing and go and pop it on the line to dry, its currently more likely to freeze your washing.
I also have issues with drying clothes as I have a small house and 2 cats so if I put anything on a radiator then its covered in fur within five minutes so I wanted to invest in a tumble dryer.
I didn't want to buy a cheap one that wouldn't ... ...saw this dryer reduced from £347 to £260 on the Curry's website.
I liked the look of it, especially that it has a door like a washing machine so you can see into it, its also a condenser dryer which is good, I didn't want to have to have a vent pipe sticking out a window letting all the cold air in, it is also B Energy rated which I thought was good as tumble dryers are not the most economical household appliance, this is estimated to use 4.49kwh ...

Hi. We bought our hoover hnc180 from currys at the back end of last year for £220 . We own a indesit washer dryer however this has poor drying capabilities so needed an alternative drying machine for the winter months. The machine was ready to take away that day. On getting the machine home, unpacked , installed we set about the instructions. Very easy to use and with a great 8kg load capacity. The condensor function of this machine means no external ... ...to this is the water tray needs emptying after every few loads and the condensor needs washing out about once a week . along with cleaning the lint filter which is standard practice for almost every dryer. the water tray and condensor are easy to access although some machines have the water tray located where the soap drawer would be on a washing machine which would save having to bend down to the bottom of the machine. however this is a good piece ...

Advantages: Comes in white. 8kg load Disadvantages: Unable to change door from side to side

Buy for £149. Hoover 8 kg dryer comes with 5 year parts and 1 year labour, no need to have the extra Guarantee from store. Price is good same in Dixons & Comets. Currys were easier online as gives option for delivery at cost or to reserve in local store and collect at own convinience.
Comes with easy clip on vent pipe The filter is yet to be tested as it opens up with all the fluff contained in middle, not to sure if this will hold ...

Review of Hoover VHV 180
Advantages: Dries quickly and quietly. Disadvantages: Condensed moisture leaks everywhere.
It does away with the need to empty the condenser chamber or duct to outside.
Very simple to plumb in to existing plumbing and it's very easy to use.
It does the job of drying extremely well, and quietly too. However ...
We are on our second HHD780X in as many months. The first 'leaked' steam which then condenses everywhere, including inside the dryers enclosure, so we had water everywhere. Seals, ducts and drum were replaced a few times, but ... ...isn't any better!
We're now waiting for a return call to find out what can be done in order to sort out the problem, so it's fingers crossed that the problem can be sorted!

...I chose the Hoover HDC6. The best deal I found was out of my Littlewoods (LX) catallogue; £249.99 - I haven't got to start paying for it until June this year AND I can pay for it monthly at no extra cost. The Hoover HDC6 is a condenser type machine. We have a small kitchen so we have to keep the tumble dryer in our garage. As we have to keep the garage door ajar to let the steam out and have had a couple of things stolen in the past, we decided to ... ...but as well as cleaning the filter you have to empty the water container after only about three wash loads and the condenser at least every month, but I would say they are all easy to do. It takes a maximum load of 6 kg and has two heat settings. It has a pre-ironing setting which provides a conditioning and anti crease function. I have found that this setting can also be used for washing that has been dried outside. I wouldn't say it was perfect ...
