So that's where all those missing socks went! Advantages: Dries clothes well Disadvantages: Uses lots of electricity/bad for environment ...loyal, and would buy a Siemens again. It appears to be well constructed, I haven't had to use the stackable feature but I would think this would be a plus if you have a siemens washing machine. The dryer does get some respite on sunnier days and on energy saving drives in this house, but it gets a fair bit of use and is so simple that even my two year old can work out how to use it, which is why it is switched off at the plug when not in actual use. ... ...dryer" wool jumper incident, the dryer has dried our clothes well and with no ill effect that I can notice - I have to admit to being a bit partial to a tumble dried towel. Nothing has ever snagged or got torn - which happened a few times with my previous dryer. Hopefully the dryer will last past the five year guarantee, but in the meantime I am reassured by knowing that should it go wrong I should be covered. With an 8kg load, it is perfect for family use. It comes with a 1y labour and 5y parts guarentee, so its pretty well covered. I got mine for a bargain £199 in the Argos sale. I was really please as I had wanted a condensor dryer for ages, but they can be very expensive. However, Candys after sales service isn't great. The online repairs request form doesn't work, meaning you have ... ...started leaking, so I phone the repairs number, but could never get through. Instead of continuosly trying to phone and wasting money, I thought maybe I could just buy a new water tank. I was shocked when I found out the were £18.99 plus postage and packaging! CTD00P Advantages: Available colours, large drum Disadvantages: Noise ...again will I buy a Hotpoint product or accept one as a gift!
