Well the Cold that I've started suffering from seems to be getting a little bit better so I decided to visit my local Spar this afternoon and couldn't resist stocking up on some of my old childhood favourites. By the time I left the shop my wallet was some five pounds lighter and clutching within my grasp, amongst a couple of grocery items, I had a picked up a packet of Tunes, a packet of Lockets and a packet of Fisherman's Friends throat lozenges. The latter I have already reviewed back in August in my review "A Friend In Need is A Friend Indeed!" so it is the Tunes that I have decided to review today, although it is a fair assumption that the Lockets may well feature in a forthcoming review very soon.

David Cook is the American Idol that nearly never was. He actually was not initially going to try out for the television talent show, he was at the auditions to support his brother but, after some pushing from his brother, decided to audition too. A good decision, because he became the winner of the seventh season of American Idol in 2008.
David Cook is classified as a Rock, singer-songwriter. His sound is definitely very rocky, but in my opinion quite soft rock. He has a very deep, raspy voice that lends itself very well to this type of music. What I really like about him is that he can actually play an instrument, unlike a lot of the new pop stars out there today who are just manufactured. I am now 17 years old, but I do still love watching the odd Thomas The Tank Engine story very ocassionly. I grew up watching it and I had, and still do have, most of the videos and story books. I was pleased to discover that the programmes and concept is still going strong. They are continuing to make new stories and introduce more characters, both of which have some positive and negative costs. I will write everything that I know about Thomas The Tank Engine and try and gives those of you who haven't seen it before, a good idea of what it all involves.
