Advantages: Smooth curl (not crimped), lasts all day, don't need to hold them for too long Disadvantages: Might not work so well on short lashes
...there is a clear curved rubber pad. There is a little metal attachment on the side of one of the loops which holds a spare rubber pad if the original one deteriorates. You carefully put your fingers in the loops at the bottom to part the top section and then put your eyelashes on the rubber pad and squeeze the loops together. It's fine if you have long lashes like mine but I know my sister has a bit of trouble as hers are considerably shorter.
There is a caution noted on the back of the packaging "using mascara before curling can cause eyelashes to stick to pad or make lashes brittle". This was a welcome addition as I never knew this. However, I would also advise anyone using eyelash curlers to be VERY careful not to place them too close to the base of the lashes because when you pinch the loops together you can actually pull the eyelashes...

Advantages: Easily absorbed, not greasy at all, pleasant smell Disadvantages: It's cold when it's just out of the bottle!
...flavoured water which someone's dropped a little bit of butter into best fits it. Not sickly sweet but definitely a tiny hint of nectar somewhere in there. Most importantly, my girlfriend likes it.
It is also the one of the best things I've come across for moisture retention too. Ointments, due to their greasy nature tend to seal in the moisture better than creams do but Vaseline Intensive Care is very good. Even with my skin which dries out very easily, a healthy application in the morning usually does the trick all day. OK, a quick dab at lunchtime is better but for convenience this is definitely the best cream I've found to date. Using a chapstick or something for your lips too will help no end.
On the whole, this stuff is great. A symptom of many skin conditions is that the skin becomes used to medications so they start to lose...
