Advantages: Lots of channels to talk to lots of people with similar radios.
Disadvantages: The weather can reduce the reception.

These radios can be used for work, sport, play and sercurity. They have a farely good range of up to 3km, but this can drop if there are buildings in the way or the weather is bad. The features, ringtones and VOX technology are good, and they come with a free battery re-charger and hands free kits. Advantages: Easy to use, very clear

These things are genius. Like all new parents we wanted something to monitor our baby when we had put them down to sleep and to be confident that they were ok. This is it. Great for outdoor activities

Advantages: Easy to use, inexpensive, very useful, great for emergencies
Disadvantages: Better battery life would be welcome, as would improved range in hilly environments

My favourite Baby Monitor

Advantages: Charger Cradle, Digital, good range, long lasting, dead simple to use, clear sound
