These things are genius. Like all new parents we wanted something to monitor our baby when we had put them down to sleep and to be confident that they were ok. This is it. The signal is wonderfully strong giving very clear sound reproduction of what your baby is up to. we can hear the slightest squeak out of him! you can also change the volume sensitivity if you only want to hear a cry and not just the squeaking! ...and the monitor. You can tell the transmitter to play music from the monitor and can even hook your ipod up to it to play babies favourite tunes. The monitor also allows you to record a message of your voice. You can also talk betwene the monitor and the transmitter, and the monitor also features a torch. Great for outdoor activities

Advantages: Easy to use, inexpensive, very useful, great for emergencies
Disadvantages: Better battery life would be welcome, as would improved range in hilly environments

My favourite Baby Monitor

Advantages: Charger Cradle, Digital, good range, long lasting, dead simple to use, clear sound
Disadvantages: none for me
