Advantages: Excellent audio quality, Cheap!!, no batteries needed if you have a USB port, long cable. Disadvantages: Mind the long cable!
For a PC-gamer such as myself, who really appreciates audio quality (including excellent bass) but who is also on a tight budget, these headphones are absolutely perfect!! I have to admit that I've ended up watching all my movies again, just to experience the bass vibration effect - and damn its good!!! Also, it doesn't need any batteries, coz it comes with a USB cable to pump the juice for the bass vibration. Althought I've given it 5 stars, I think I should mention that the microphone went kaput a couple of days ago (I've owned it for about 5 months now). To be honest, I haven't come across any other reviewers on Amazon who had the same problem with the microphone, so I'm guessing that it was a one-off.

Regarding the question of comfort, I would have to say that your ears are going to feel a bit painful after 4-5hours of continuous use - and yes, it does quite a decent job of isolating you acoustically. But you won't feel the pain for long as your ears will get used to it and the headphone frame would become a little more flexible. In the headphones' defence, I have to say that it is properly cushoined, not just around the earpiece, but also around the centre part of the frame, so that it doesn't hurt the top of your head! I have to say that the only real kind of discomfort I experienced was my fault - extremely loud music!! :)
I'm quite sure that after experiencing the bass vibration, you won't have much to complain! Enjoy!!
