I had been to Taylor Taylor several times for both highlights and cuts and was always happy and grateful I'd found the perfect cutter. Then I had a disaster having had my hair dyed back to its natural colour (as I do in the winter) and was left sitting there with the dye on for about 15 mins longer than I was told it needed and it being almost black. I then had a nightmare having any dealings with the manager, always so friendly on the phone but failed to call me back when he said he would. The Razor’s Edge on Oxford Rd in Manchester is one of my local hairdressers, but for almost 2 years of me living in the city I never went. I visited Garbos in Albert Road (opposite the Goose at the V&A pub) for the first time a few weeks ago. I had tried out a few of the other 'big salons' in Portsmouth, but after a recommendation from a friend and after seeing her hair (which looked lovely) I thought I'd give garbos a go!
