Advantages: Wide range, nice site, delivers on time(just) Disadvantages: Pricey p&p for small orders, misleading images
Over the past few years I've become quite a keen gardener, experimenting with different plants and flowers as well as trying my hand at fruit and vegetable growing. It's been a very rewarding hobby and I always get a real buzz when I get to serve my own tomatoes with a salad for lunch or receive a compliment on my front garden displays. I stumbled upon Crocus.co.uk pretty much by accident, you see I'm a member of Lightspeed Research which is a survey website where you build up points and exchange them for vouchers etc? I'd built up a nice little amount of points and decided to see what rewards were in my points bracket, one of the sites listed was Crocus.co.uk and after briefly visiting the site to see what plants they had available I traded in some of my points for a Ģ10 E-voucher to spend on the site.

Advantages: More chilled out grooves for the summer Disadvantages: A few duffers
When the sun is beating down, the steering wheel is red hot to the touch and you just want to chill then the last thing you need on the car stereo is something slightly heavy. You just want to chill as you hurtle down the bypass and for that you need some chilled tunes.
Thankfully every few summers Zero 7 come to help, this summer sees their latest spinning in my car. The Garden sees the duo return with more mellow musings for you to enjoy while you kick back, relax and take your shoes off.
This time around the 7 have enlisted acoustic man of the moment Jose Gonzales to provide some of the vocal accompaniment. This is highlighted on opening track 'Futures'. An acoustic based song with mellow Gonzales vocals, a smooth jazz feel and a few electronic twiddling thrown in for good measure. It set's the mood for the record.

It is also true to say that a really good shop dedicated to gardeners has been sadly lacking up to now on the Internet. True it is possible to purchase some things at the likes of B&Q and Argos, but never a comprehensive selection. We have been saddled with lines that make the most profit margins, and no real explanation why we need them in the first place.
I am pleased to say that all this has been corrected at a stroke with the introduction of a dedicated gardening website that covers everything from aphids to zinnia’s. The site is called “Gone Gardening” and can be found at www.gonegardening.com They describe themselves as the UK’s ultimate gardening web site, and I think that once you have been, like myself, you will agree with them ...
