Having bought this camera I was of course eager to get down to getting photos into the device then transfer them to my computer. The first part of which was no bother at all, I found the experience of taking the photos to be no problem at all. However when I went to transfer them the problems started. Although I am no PC expert I can usually install devices without much trouble. The instructions given in the manual were quite basic and I encountered a problem with the actual set up of the transfer system. I think this maybe largely a XP problem as the driver is not accepted as XP compliant.I had to track down extra information on the net in order to get the product up and running.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
As I left an UH rating, I feel obliged to leave a comment as to why.
Your op. has a couple of lines saying that you bought a camera and had no problems taking pictures with it; hardly a comprehensive review of the pros and cons of the camera. The other half a dozen lines seem to say that you had problems downloading pictures because you hadn't checked if it was compatable with your computer.
Perhaps you should do a little research to discover what makes an opinion. Ciao guidelines are a good start, other peoples ops are also helpful. Good luck...
