Advantages: Stunning scenery, friendly welcome, so much to see! Disadvantages: You have no choice but to drive - don't rely on public transport
The idea of a holiday in Canada was one that had crossed my mind a few times in the past, without me ever getting past the vague planning stage. It always seemed too far away, too expensive, or just too much like hard work... but then back in early 2008, I happened to see a mail from Condor offering cheap flights to destinations all over the world. Normally I wouldn't bother clicking on any of the links, but one line in particular caught my eye: "Fly to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for ?99 per person". And there really were still seats available at that price - not during high season of course, but we'd heard that autumn on the eastern seaboard really is a great time to visit, so this was an offer we couldn't refuse. Should you be considering a visit to Nova Scotia, don't be put off by the idea of travelling outside of the traditional summer ...
Advantages: clear sound, very low noise Disadvantages: remote control would be nice
An easy, plug'n'play sound system in cute-looking body with great performance. I was looking for new speakers for my laptop but then I decided I wanted more than just speakers and started searching through the lists of 2.1 and 5.1 sound systems. Originally I was about to buy a 5.1, but I realized such a set wouldn't be smart for a laptop which I wanna carry around and have it now on my desk, then on my bed, then on the floor etc, for which a 5.1 felt too much of cables and mass.
I'm happy about my decision since the Logitech X-230 has proven to live up to the expectations based on what they promise, the sound is clear, full and I find it great for both music, games or movies. The subwoofer bass is strong and full, perfectly satisfying for almost cinema movie experience. You can hear hardly any noise and the volume range is wide enough ...
Advantages: Truly all terrain, well built, light, comfy Disadvantages: None
I wanted a buggy that would stand up to walking regular long walks in the New Forest with my two dogs. This buggy surpassed itself, it is truly all terrain and has even been on mountain walks in Snowdonia! It easily goes over tree roots, gravel, through shallow streams, across heather, through mud, along a shingly beach & more and because it is like a hammock - comfy for my daughter. The tyres are puncture proof and are quick release. I just jet wash it down when I get home and its as good as new. The covers come off & are machine washable too. My daughter has been in this pram since she was a newborn - I used a sheepskin liner and strap covers and she was snug as a bug in a rug - especially in the cosy toes in the winter, she is now 3 and we don't use it as much as she wants to walk everywhere - but it can be used up until 4 years old ...
