The reason why I am writing this article under the assumed name of DCA 1 is because the camera I purchased from them is no loger available it has been discontinued.This term must be synonymus with UMAX do a search using any search engine and you will find discontinued alongside UMAX.
Their customer service is "rubbish" ,my camera no longer works unless it is plugged in ,I contacted their web site about the matter explaining the problem in detail,They replied about 3 weeks later telling me I would need to phone them as they could not tell me how to resolve the problem in an e-mail "why-ever not?" .I wonder if this has anything to do with tech support charging an absolute fortune to solve any problems,and keep you on line for as long as physically possible.
The problem is still not resolved and they apparently do not support this product anymore.In fact their website is so poorly organised I cannot even find any information about what the "discontinued" model was called think it was dcx 1 or something like that.
Although this product was cheap and worked fairly well for a little while their aftersales support is so poor I would not recommend any UMAX products
