Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (PS3)

Sony's quest for exclusive PlayStation 3 games that are actually worth the blu-ray disc they're lasered on continues with "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune". Developed by "Naughty Dog", best known for the "Crash Bandicoot" and "Jak and Daxter" series, a quick glance at "Uncharted" gleams of high production values. However, I've limited my PS3 expectations to "extremely low" for its first couple of years, so I went into the game fully expecting said dreams to be thoroughly crushed and burned. ...game! Sound Uncharted: Drake's Fortune may be the first in existence to use an actual full band to play its music. You get animal sounds etc when running through the jungle but as soon as it starts to get a bit more tense the band kicks in and up the ante! I never really realised how big a part music plays in games until you play this game and find out how it's meant to be! Conclusion As you may have guessed already, I love this game! ...

Disadvantages: Bit short. May seem hard and tricky to younger players.

I was slightly aprehensive when I got this game. I had played the demo from the PSN store, and had not been that impressed. However I was wrong to do so; Uncharted is one of the PS3's best exclusives and is well worth the buy, even months afer it's release. The game is more like a film, its that appealing.The characters are so real and honest that its hard not to like them. Advantages: Stunning graphics, Lots of humour, Compelling story, Wonderful to play, Replay Value, Lots of Fun!
Disadvantages: No multiplayer, sometimes shooting could get a little repetitive for some

I bought Uncharted just after it was released last Christmas. The other day I loaded it up for yet another play through, and it blew me away all over again. At such a low price, this is seriously not a game to miss out on. The premise is fairly simple.
