Ok I have to admit it - I have a problem, not too embarrassing, just a little bit of dampness now and again….. in the bathroom. So to keep the house in tip top order, I needed to reseal the tiles around the bath. *** What is it? *** Uni Bond high performance shower and bath sealant is just that, a waterproof sealant for the bath!! It is used to seal the joint between the tiles and the bath, to prevent water running down and ruining the plaster/ceiling of the room below, which in my case is the kitchen. This is a great product, it is also mould resistant, pretty useful for an area that gets a ... more

The other big advantage is that as we do not have a traditional silicone gun, this product can be purchased in an ... more

Advantages Advantages Easy to apply, fills all holes and cracks

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The smell

I've just finished re-tiling the bathroom and needed to seal the edges with something that was flexible and water-proof - as Kylie Minogue wasn't available I went for "UNIBOND Bathroom and Kitchen Sealant" instead. Before starting my bathroom project, we regularly had floods of water on our bathroom floor where the water had leaked through the various holes and cracks around the existing bath seal (helped by the kids of course). So I was keen to make sure that I did this part of the job as best as I could. ~~~ Price ~~~ I paid just under £8 at Homebase for a 275ml can - I've seen it at B&Q ... more
