This x-press 300 charges AAA, AA & 9V size batteries. It lets you charge 2 or 4 AA/AAA and one 9V batteries of the same type at the same time. It's suitable for AA, AAA and 9V (PP3) NiCd and NiH batteries. To use AAA batteries you simply flip down a little holder within the charger and it will hold the AAA batteries to charge.
The plug in design makes it easy to use and the built in mains transformer means there are no leads or adaptors. You simply plug it in and it starts charging your batteries. The actually charger is about hand size and can be used while travelling too. It has two LED's which light up green when both sides have batteries placed with in it, if you only place two batteries on the front only one LED will light up and vice versa. If on the other hand the LED's don't light up then your battery is either faulty or you haven't places it in the charger properly.

With my charger I got 4 AA 2300mAh Ni-MH batteries. You can also get 4 AA 1300mAh Ni-MH batteries or 4 AA 2500mAh Ni-MH batteries with the charger. The 2300mAh basically means the power of the battery, the higher the number more the power. The higher the power also means they last slightly longer too.
Overall I am very happy with this charger and haven't had any problems what so ever with it. I have charged all the types of batteries it is capable of charging and it charges them with no problems. What makes this different from other chargers is that it's so convenient, you have the charger and batteries and you're ready to go, hassle free. I bought this charger for £8 brand new with batteries included from Ebay.

I have the old style one of these and I find that it does the job just great. I purchased it as it is a very cost evective way of supplying my GPS with the endless number of batteries it eats through. It is very easy to use, compact and therefore easy to store and supports the most common battery sizes, AA, AAA and 9V in both NiCd and NiMH forms. I have used it to charge all three of those batteries all of which it does as it should. It has indicator ... ...have finished charging. It includes 4 AA batteries so your ready to roll. There is a switch on the front which is used to switch the built-in timer between 7 (A) and 3 (B) hours. The only problem is working out what timer you need for what battery. Very high capacity batteries may need charging more than once to accomplish a full charge. A great way to save money on buying batteries! ...
