Too much time and effort is spent on the internet side: after all, who would want to connect to the internet using Unix when there are decent Web Browsers around? Or is it just coincidence that the authors also wrote Internet for Dummies…?

If you are completely new to Unix and have very little programming knowledge, this book might be fairly useful for you. Otherwise, don’t waste your money on it.
